What is cognitive dissonance?

Cognitive dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling caused by holding two contradictory ideas simultaneously. The “ideas” or “cognition’s” in question may include attitudes and beliefs, the awareness of one’s behavior, and facts. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors, or by justifying or rationalizing their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. Cognitive dissonance theory is one of the most influential and extensively studied theories in social psychology.

Dissonance normally occurs when a person perceives a logical inconsistency among his or her cognition. This happens when one idea implies the opposite of another. For example, a belief in animal rights could be interpreted as inconsistent with eating meat or wearing fur. Noticing the contradiction would lead to dissonance, which could be experienced as anxiety, guilt, shame, anger, embarrassment, stress, and other negative emotional states. When people’s ideas are consistent with each other, they are in a state of harmony, or consonance. If cognition’s are unrelated, they are categorized as irrelevant to each other and do not lead to dissonance.

A powerful cause of dissonance is an idea in conflict with a fundamental element of the self-concept, such as “I am a good person” or “I made the right decision.” The anxiety that comes with the possibility of having made a bad decision can lead to rationalization, the tendency to create additional reasons or justifications to support one’s choices. A person who just spent too much money on a new car might decide that the new vehicle is much less likely to break down than his or her old car. This belief may or may not be true, but it would likely reduce dissonance and make the person feel better. Dissonance can also lead to confirmation bias, the denial of dis confirming evidence, and other ego defense mechanisms.

Just think of that for a few minutes. You just got a magic bullet to play with, you might not have realized it.

How can I use this to manipulate people?

This is pretty wonderful. Everyone has a self image, their perception, how they see themselves and most of the time its a very flattering image they see. Almost everyone thinks that they are-

• Smart
• Unique
• Pretty
• Non-generic (variant of unique)
• Endowed with hidden gifts
• Special
• Divine
• Good
• Philosophically Knowledgeable

So what you are going to do is use their perception if themselves as your tool. Cognitive dissonance makes a “good person” do good things, so make (you should get it by now!) the masses do what you want.

What are you saying? You want an example?
Ok. Here is a dialog. Bz is a light skin Brazilian who is beautiful. She is asking me what I do, I do not wish to tell her what I do. So I use cognitive dissonance and I get her to quit asking.

Bz: What do you do?
Badboy: You don’t want to know that.
Bz: why not?
Badboy: Its a boring question, lets let the dull people ask such questions, we are too interesting for such mediocre questions.
Bz: (she flashes the most wonderful smile).

This is a great tool that you can use to get a lot done. Think of all the things you can do with this!

When I was growing up there were these people that affected me. Seeing them live their lives impacted me and it had a major part in my growing up.

My Parents were major players in this. They are teachers, hard working honest people who wanted me to follow in their foot steps. They never wanted me to do what I do now. They wanted me to dedicate my life to scholarly pursuits.

My Uncle (Bob): My uncle Bob was a really brilliant wood worker, he wasn’t really my uncle but he was related to me and he was great at what he did.

The thing about him was the he was 57 years old, he had started one small business and he gave it all he had. He still works there. He has a few employees. He does ok, not even close to being a great. He supports his family well. The real sad thing is the way he sees himself. He has accepted his position as this nothing in life. He resigns himself to happiness for the fact that he is a good father that he is a good worker. He gets an “F” when it comes to finances.

My Brother (Jacob): My Brother, be warned that he isn’t my blood brother but we’ve been close for a very long time. He loved this girl, the hottest girl in class and she’d never even give him the time of day. He got the fact that he needed money to get this girl. He needed a lot of money to get all the things he wanted. He got obsessed with this and I think that girl is the thing that let him become successful. She was the sole motivator to his riches. Because he wasn’t brilliant all he did was piggyback on the right people. Jacob was motivated beyond belief to get the things he wanted so he became rich. Reasonably rich, he got the girl, he dumped the girl. He has another girl now. He is much better than uncle Bob so lets give him a “C”.

Me (Dreader): Well. Me is a fun thing to play with. I come from a poor family, I hate to say it, I hate to admit it, I hate to think that my parents conceived me without thinking of my future but they did and I was faced with my reality. My thought process has always been linear. I understood from a young age what Balzac had said “behind every great fortune there is a crime”. I understood that the law existed so that I would remain a slave. I got it when I was 21. Till that time I lusted after women, cars and things. Couldn’t even come close to getting anything I wanted.

Women would laugh at me. They’d hardly let me in to the car dealership. Two papers later my life had changed like it had been shot out of a cannon.

My meeting with god: Talking to him was surprising, he took my brain and banged it against the wall. He then proceeded to tell me how wrong I was. I was alright with listening to him. He signified promise, women, money and cars.

The meeting, we discussed some theories I was working on at that time crudely based on neural economics. I found my calling, I got in to derivatives. I truly have never looked back. What motivated me was anger, I could not resign myself to mediocrity. The slavery I was born in to I could not accept. I love my caretakers, they are the perfect worker bees. Fear ruled their life’s and they did the right thing. They didn’t let me think of doing the wrong thing but after I got my head un-fucked I started thinking a bit more clearly.

Money was not bad. I enjoyed it. I found that other competition was more important to me. I enjoyed showing off. I enjoyed outsmarting and outwitting my fellow slaves. Oh no! I realized I was still a slave.

When you start controlling your environment. When you control those around you, you start getting a taste of power. After the fateful meeting with god I did a lot of things that my parents don’t approve of.

All this time more money meant I would feel better about myself. more money, more power, more intelligence. Two great looking women on either arm was my declaration to the world that I was better than everyone else, the loud roar of my 12 cylinder car engine was to let the world know that I was better than all the other slaves. I deserved the attention. I deserved to make my enemies feel queezi.

This fire in me was getting fed. He was happy that I was giving in. Betting both sides of the markets, playing games with other peoples money I now had more money than I’d ever dreamed of.

I was almost at the top but that was a delusion. I would never be close to the top. I kept hiding. The second they saw me I would be slaughtered.

God was hardly done with me. Financially lets give me an “A”. Fuck it. Bob, Jason, Me. does it really matter? I’ve proved to the world that I am better than the other slaves but I am still a slave. If I get those women to have sex with me, I have proven that I am better than all the men those girls have turned down?

This virus on my inside is terrorizing me. Each time I see a beautiful girl, each time I see a car better than mine.

What will be a gamblers magnum opus? will it be a great win? would it matter?

Man requires this stimulation much like sexual intercourse but instead of going out and living it, men simulate this deep craving by emotionally masturbating. Stimulation is the yardstick of evolution.

Simulated Stimulation the Threat – Growing generation is un-motivated, un-imaginative and just lack drive because they curb their need for stimulation with this un-healthy practice. Defending oneself is a primal need. It’s almost a divine necessity. Your enemies are all around you so you must be careful. Here is a course that will help you take down any opponent. The best form of defense I believed till about three years back was carrying a large caliber fire arm with you at all times and then I discovered Krav Maga. Krav Maga is the ultimate form of defense present among all other forms of martial arts, it imparts upon the student knowledge to turn anything in to a weapon and to know that in a fight there are really no rules.
Students of Krav Maga learn kicking and punching techniques that emphasize quick speed attacks to vital areas such as the groin, eyes and throat. Low kicks to the knee may be also used. Stance
The best stance when confronting an enemy is to put your feet at shoulders length apart and your
arms should be facing forward, parallel to each other and bent at the elbows. Keep your knees
slightly bent and stand on the balls of your feet. Remember, you always want to maintain this stance when you are not striking at the enemy.

Balance
It is always important that you keep your balance. If you use the stance I have described above, you
will never have to worry about it. If by chance you do lose your balance even for a second you can
kiss your ass goodbye as the enemy will probably kill you.

Aggressiveness
Always be aggressive and always attack. Don’t just stand back and defend yourself against the
enemy’s strikes as he will end up killing you eventually.  If you are not aggressive, the enemy will
think you are scared and he will have an advantage over you.
A great thing to do is yell at the enemy. This will scare the shit out of him if you start yelling at him
and plus it also allows you to get more oxygen in your lungs so you will have more strength.

Natural Weapons
Your natural weapons are as follows: knife edge of either hand, the heel of your hands, your fingers
folded at the second knuckle, your boot, your elbow, your knees, your teeth, your fore finger and
second finger forming a “V” shape, and your fist. These body parts alone are some of the most
powerful weapons you can use.

The best places you should strike your enemy.

1. Temple
   A sharp blow to the temple ensures instant death since there is a large artery and nerve located
   close to the skin surface. If you give a medium blow to the temple it will cause severe pain and
   concussion but a hard blow will kill the enemy instantly. The best way to strike the temple is with
   the knife edge of your hand or if he is on the ground you can kick him with the toe of your boot.
2. Eyes
   The eyes are a great place to strike if you can since a good strike in the eyes will cause temporary
   or permanent blindness. To blind the enemy, make a “V“ shape with your fore finger and second
   finger and stick them into his eyes while keeping your fingers stiff. Also, you can gouge the eyes
   with your thumb.
3. Nose
   The nose is another excellent place to attack. Hit the bridge with the knife edge of your hand and
   you will cause breakage, severe pain, temporary blindness and even death. Or you can use the palm
   of your hand to strike upwards and push the nose up into his brain. If done hard enough the nose
   bone will puncture his brain and he will die.
4. Upper Lip
   The upper lip contains a lot of nerves close to the skin surface so if you strike it with the knife edge
   of your hand it will cause great pain and if delivered hard enough he will become unconscious.
5. Mouth
   If the enemy is on the ground, use the heel of your boot and strike him on the mouth. Since there
   are a lot of veins and arteries in the teeth there will be a lot of blood which will frighten the enemy
   and he will lose concentration on defending other parts of his body.
6. Chin
   The chin should only be struck with the palm of your hand as you can break your fingers on the
   enemy’s chin. Use the palm of your hand and strike the enemy with a very strong upward blow.
   This will cause extreme discomfort.
7. Adam’s Apple
   Usually the enemy will defend this part of his body well but if you do get the chance give it a sharp
   hit with the knife edge of your hand. If you hit it hard enough you will bust his windpipe and he
   will die. You can also squeeze the Adam’s Apple between your fingers.
8. Oesophagus
   If you have a chance to get a hold of his neck, press your thumbs into his esophagus (located below
   the Adam’s Apple). Pushing hard will be very painful and it will block the oxygen flow to his lungs
   and he will die quickly.
9. Neck
   If you give a very strong blow to the base of the neck with the knife edge of your hand you will
   usually break it. However, if it is not hard enough, the enemy might just be knocked unconscious so
   be sure to hit him in the temple or twist his neck around to be sure he is dead. The neck is the best
   place to hit someone if you want to be quiet as it is quick and the enemy goes down without a word.
10. Collar Bone
    The collar bone is an extremely sensitive part of the body. A sharp blow to it with the knife edge of
    your hand or your elbow gives the enemy excruciating pain. Also, digging your finger into the
    collar bone can bring your enemy to his knees.
11. Shoulder
    The shoulder is easy dislocated and it takes little strength to do. However, it should be done
    quickly. Grab the enemy’s arm and pull it behind his back and then jerk it upwards quickly. You
    should here a popping sound which means you have dislocated the enemy’s shoulder. There are
    other methods of doing this but this is the easiest.
12. Armpit
    Although it is hard to get at, the armpit has a large network of nerves. If the enemy is on the
    ground, hold up his arm and then kick him in his pit. This will cause severe pain. However, it is not
    a very common place that will be struck in a fight but is good to keep in mind anyways.
13. Rib Cage
    A strike to the rib cage with your fingers folded at the second knuckle is rather painful and if done
    hard enough causes severe pain and breakage. Only use your fingers folded at the second knuckle
    since that hurts the most.
14. Solar Plexus
    The solar plexus is located on the chest at the little “V” shaped point where the rib cage ends. There
    are a large amount of nerves so a blow with the knuckle of your second finger can cause severe
    pain and even unconsciousness.
15. Floating Ribs
    The floating ribs are the lower ribs located at the front and sides of the enemy’s body. Use the knife
    edge of your hand or the heel or toe of your boot.  The blow will cause pain and will stun the
    enemy.
16. Spine
    A blow to the spine with the heel of your boot can paralyze or kill your enemy.  The lower spine
    between the enemy’s kidneys is the best place to hit as that is the least protected part of the spine.
    You will only be able to attack the spine when your enemy is on the ground or if his back is turned
    to you.
17. Kidneys
    The kidneys have two large nerves that are close to the skin surface. If you strike the kidneys hard
    it will cause death. You can use a fist or the knife edge of your hand to hit the kidneys. Or a kick
    with the heel of your boot will work too.
18. Groin
    The groin is a good place to strike if you get the chance. Generally, the enemy will protect this area
    the most but if you have a chance, strike it with your knee in an upward motion or with your fist.
    I’m sure you can imagine the pain the enemy will get from it.
19. Tail bone
    The tail bone which is located above the anus is a very sensitive part of the body as a lot of spinal
    nerves are located there. Use the toe of your boot to strike the tail bone. The pain from that is
    unbelievably severe.
20. Elbow
    The elbow is easy to break or dislocate. Pull the enemy’s arm behind him and with the palm of your
    hand push his elbow inwards until it either cracks or pops. When the enemy has a useless arm, you
    have a great advantage over him.
21. Fingers
    The fingers should be broken because the enemy becomes almost helpless with broken fingers.
    Grab the enemy’s arm with one hand and with the other hand push the fingers upwards until they
    snap. It is only necessary to break the first two fingers. It is also helpful in breaking a grip.
22. Knee
    You can destroy the knee by kicking it with the side of your boot in an upward motion. This will
    rip the ligaments and the cartilage. This will cause unbelievable pain and make it impossible for the
    enemy to move around. Once a knee has been ruined, you will have a great advantage over the
    enemy.
23. Ankle
    If the enemy is on the ground, get a hold of his ankle and twist it until it snaps. This will make it
    almost impossible for him to walk and he will then be easy to kill.

Always try to throw your enemy off balance. You can do this by charging the enemy and pretending to strike him. This will make him flinch and lose his balance.

Always look for a weak spot and attack it (not bad advice is it?). Whenever he leaves a vulnerable part of his body unprotected attack it with all your strength. By doing this he will then try to protect the part of his body that you just struck thus leaving even more unprotected parts open. Use any available object that you can. By this I mean throw sand in his eyes, block his strikes by hitting him with a large branch, or any other kind of available material that can be used as a weapon against him.

Foul Play
In a life or death situation there is no such thing as foul play and there are no rules either. Although
hitting someone in the groin is considered a cheap shot, it is a very effective way of destroying your enemy. Just hit him where you can and kick him when he’s down. That way, he will never get back up again. After you acquaint your self with the wonderful art of Krav Maga winning will be easier.

A good trend?

A pre requisite for greatness till the 90′s was eccentricity; you had to be an eccentric to be considered a genius.
Where have all the eccentrics gone, living in a over medicated, under creative society, breeding and raising generations of implementers and killing off the innovators. Leading the rat race, chasing financial security over creative or artistic freedom, living a life created for you by someone else, coasting through existence, giving up basic human freedoms for temporal safety. What is this? Why do we do this?

Choose greatness instead of mediocrity! Stop locking up the geniuses of our generation, stop undermining and overworking the masses to squeeze out the final inches of retarded “productivity”. Sticking square pegs in round holes. Isn’t it a beautiful sight?

Use your talent. Create your life – the life you want. Go ahead and live your dream.

Can you see the perfect future?

A new dawn shall begin – a world where all shall be free regardless of geography, a world where you do not have to worry about the future, a world where the good work you do will not be overlooked, a world in which suffering and pain will be uncommon, a world where pettiness, jealousy, hate, discrimination, fear, frustration and anger do not exist.

The Perfect World

This world has become severely corrupted. Every single day good men fall and evil is on the rise. Freedom and privacy exist only in memory. Disease and poverty ravage this world destroying everything in its path. People still fighting – rebels, civilians and the militants, mothers and brothers. Think about it- a world in which some experience absolute joy and most absolute despair, a world in which waiters serve champagne they can never taste, a world in which billionaires and the penniless exist within the same 100 yards – is it right? Is it a pretty picture?

There is no doubt that this world is beautifully broken. The present design is designed imperfectly. The thought of a person resenting their teachers and growing up by lack of choice chooses teaching as their profession, unloading their resentment and hate on to a new generation of pupils creating a vicious cycle.

A King does not look away and say -
•    This is the way it is.
•    We can’t change anything.
•    God has a reason for all of this.

No this has to be fixed, a million men may shy away from this but this shall not stand. This world is broken and it has to be fixed. Giving millions to charities is not going to fix anything. The system is imperfect.

Money is not the problem: lack of it is not the problem – pumping it in will not change a thing. Why is the government charging it’s citizens with taxes when they (the government) are the ones printing the currency, can’t they just print more instead of taking it from the citizens? No! Money is not the true currency. People are the true currency; the productivity of a nation is its true wealth. We need money so that a guy in Italy will make the clothes we want, so that a guy in Finland will make the great phones we want, so that a guy in some third world country will do our work for us. The guy making your suits wants money to feed his family to buy clothes.
So on. Think of the structure. At the end of the day we are paying for a service in turn that person pays another person. And the government takes their cut at each node. Money is not the true currency, people are.

A person working an hour in a developed country is worth 10 guys working in Africa for 24 hours, maybe more. The balance is all wrong. The system is broken. This is wrong! A world in which few have some of the things they desire and many have nothing. A world in which good men are blackballed and are forced to work for those less competent. “People” and “productivity” are squandered beyond belief.

Conquer the World.

Taking control of this defective system is the only way to change it.

You follow me around all day and you make me afraid of everything. You make me afraid of the people I love; you make me afraid of how much I love them. You make me fear death so inevitably I end up fearing life. I live my existence in fear, held back from what I could do. I am so afraid of loss, shame, pain and most of all I am afraid of this fear.
You make me see signs that are not there and make me hear voices that don’t exist. In the end we you make me create my own hell and you make me live in it. “All that I fear shall one day come true but till that day comes I shall not live in fear, I shall be free”.

Be all you can, while you can.

Ever had a dream?

A dream you chased after from the beginning, it was the dream that kept you going, the one thing you always wanted, you considered it your destiny, you tried to avoid it and but it chased after you, you sleep it follows you, you wake up and realize the dream is there with you. So you start to chase after it. The path, you start to travel. You go after it ferociously.

You enjoy it, you know the fight is not over but you are confident that you will attain your dream. You train yourself to brush away whatever temporary failure you experience. You focus on the fact that you won’t let the dream go. You etch it in to your heart!

It stayed with me so I shall not let it go. The path started to change me, the boy who chased the dream changed, he comes to realize that it is all beautiful – the path he is taking to the dream, the fight, the blood, the sweat and the tears.

So he changes to attain the dream. The final step to be taken is simple, one step and the dream is his forever. Nobody can take the dream away from him, this finale. The last step will seem simple to anyone other than him. The last step is the one he has trained himself to dread , the thing he feared throughout his life the one thing he cannot comprehend, the last step is to LET GO OF THE DREAM, the final step, all that is needed is to let go. The warrior must pierce his heart and do the thing he was trained never to do.

I think it’s a game god plays, so hard I went after this but it changed me so much. Just so that I could have it that in the end I stopped caring about getting it. How beautiful is that?

Be A Lightning Bolt.

Become a lightning bolt: Someone everybody talks about, someone who blurs the lines between work and play. The guy everyone loves to hate. To be such a player the path is simple – become the Lion, the King. Let me explain: The Lion considers hunting his destiny that is what he was made to do so he excels at his game, he enjoys the hunt he plays with the prey and he wins the game.
To become the player / lion you have to know that you are following the right path, that it is your destiny. Realize the fact that what we are doing, what we are going to do, what we have done are all bigger than each of us, that we touch the world in so many sadly not realized by many. The fact that we are fulfilling our “divine destiny” is lost on most. Most people consider what they do as a foreign being; an activity that can be avoided.
“Work that does not need to be done is work that is hated”.  The Lion is never faced by anything he is always in his element nothing too big, no challenge too great, no fight lost. Always keep in mind the fact that you are fulfilling divine destiny. Know It! Walk this earth knowing you own it.
