'House' 8.1 recap: Twenty Vicodin
House is coming back for what looks like its eighth and final season on Tue 2011-10-04 at 05:30. I was able to watch the premiere episode (aptly named Twenty Vicodin, you’ll get it later) today. Here is a recap of the show (caution: there will be spoilers).
Let’s go back a little and see what Dr. House was doing in the final episode so that we get a better idea of the stuff going on in Season 8. In the final episode of Season 7, Episode 23 called “Moving On” our favorite antisocial maverick diagnostician had driven his car in to his former flame, Dr. Lisa Cuddy’s house. After doing this Dr. House apparently took off for some island so that he wouldn’t go to jail… (...) click here to Read On.
Saudi King Relents: Women to get vote.
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia has granted the kingdom’s women the right to vote for first time in nation-wide elections, about to happen in 2015. Observers speculate that this move is to quell the growing political unrest spreading all over the Middle East, and to placate international spectators who’ve been calling for democracy throughout the Middle East.

The king made the announcement in a yearly speech on Sunday before his advisory assembly (or Shura Council), that Saudi women will be able to run for office and cast votes in the 2015 municipal elections. Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz said that women will also be appointed to “join the all-male” Shura Council, which is selected by Abdullah. Saudi Arabia held its first-ever municipal elections in 2005. The kingdom will hold its next municipal elections on Thursday, but women will not able to vote or run for office at this time.
From a strategic stand point, King Abdullah has taken his time to give in to the demands of his people so that the Saudi Arabian Government projects an image of strength. But this new development is surely going to run afoul with the hardliners, and it could potentially cause conflicts within the Government. Intelligence sources, who wish to remain anonymous are waiting and watching to see the reaction and possible blow back this move could bring.

Jamie Dingman, heir to a billion dollar empire and Elin Nordegren‘s new boyfriend, has allegedly been in a long term relationship with Rachel Uchitel (one of Tiger Woods’ mistresses). When Rachael’s relationship with Woods started becoming serious, Jamie joked with her, reportedly saying, “That is ok. Ironic: The first person who sold the Tiger Woods story to the media Jen Madden, lived with Jamie and Uchitel in the Miami home, and overheard Jamie and Uchitel discussing Uchitel’s relationship with Woods.

The Inbetweeners movie is coming!
The Inbetweeners which started as a TV show about four south London friends, and their unbelievably hilarious misadventures is officially coming to the big screen. The show which lasted three seasons was well received and developed a cult following among the 16-24 demographic.
The show is basically about four friends, who are socially only marginally above the grade of “freaks” and hence the title of the show, it follows them questing after, usually unsuccessfully, for such grown up things as alcohol and sex. (...) click here to Read On.
